Privacy Policy
STAVUS is a status object. Our privacy posture matches the product: we collect the minimum required to run a verified leaderboard, and nothing else.
What we collect
- Apple account identifier. When you sign in with Apple to purchase a membership, we receive a pseudonymous identifier (and, if you choose to share it, your name — used only to prefill your display name).
- Purchase records. Apple sends us cryptographically signed confirmations of your purchases. We store transaction identifiers and amounts to compute your verified lifetime total.
- Profile content. The display name you choose and your public-visibility setting.
What we do with it
We display your rank, tier, and verified lifetime total on the public leaderboard — under your chosen display name if your profile is public, or as "Anonymous Member" if it is not. Your amount and rank remain visible either way; that is how the Board stays truthful. We use purchase records solely to compute totals and maintain your membership status.
What we never do
- No advertising, no trackers, no analytics SDKs, no data brokers.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, except the service providers below.
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and the app will never ask for tracking permission because it has nothing to track.
Service providers
Authentication and data storage run on Google Firebase; payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes your sign-in, profile, and leaderboard presence. De-identified transaction amounts are retained as financial records and to keep the Board's arithmetic honest; they can no longer be connected to you. Cancel your subscription separately via your Apple ID subscription settings.
Children
STAVUS is not directed at children and requires an Apple ID capable of a significant purchase. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted in the app.
